EA宣布拳击游戏系列《Fight Night》回归

Electronic Arts have announced the return of boxing franchise Fight Night, which hasn’t seen an entry in the franchise in over a decade.

Announced somewhat unceremoniously on social media, the official EA Sports Fight Night Twitter account came back to life to announce the series’ return, with a simple message – “To everyone who stayed in our corner: Fight Night is coming back.“

The last time we had a Fight Night game was 2011’s Fight Night Champion, which was favourably recieved with multiple critics celebrating it’s banner ‘Champion’ mode. Despite that success, EA never made another one – until now.

Of course, this announcement comes on the back of Electronic Arts sale for $55 Billion to PIF, Silver Lake and Affinity Partners earlier this year. The deal, originally announced back in September of last year, was approved by EA stockholders and was swiftly approved across various regulatory bodies. Current EA CEO Andrew Wilson is remaining in the role.
