EA Sports宣布《Fight Night》拳击系列时隔15年回归

After 15 years, EA Sports has announced that its Fight Night boxing series is making a comeback. The company shared the news today with a short message on social media, telling longtime fans, “The fight is never over,” followed by, “To everyone who stayed in our corner: Fight Night is coming back.”

The last game in the series was Fight Night Champion, released in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It introduced Champion Mode, a story-driven campaign that followed boxer Andre Bishop, and was also the first game in the series to receive a Mature rating. Anyone looking to revisit it can still play the game on newer Xbox consoles through backward compatibility.

The series got its start with Fight Night 2004, followed by Fight Night Round 2 in 2005, Round 3 in 2006 and Round 4 in 2009. EA Sports didn’t share much beyond the announcement, so there’s still no release date, gameplay footage or word on which platforms the new game will be available on. It’s been a long time since fans have had a new Fight Night to play, so hopefully more details aren’t too far away.
