The Limited Gold Foil Ocarina Of Time Physical Edition Is Absolutely Stunning
I got the chance to see the special gold foil edition of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time at PAX over the weekend and if this isn’t an argument for physical games existing then I don’t know what is.
Paying homage to the gold cart of the original version, when the light hits the cover, not only does the golden logo shimmer in golden goodness, the entire cover has this textured quality about it that matches the new woven art style for the game, and almost makes it look hand stitched.
It’s hard to believe that the remake is just a few weeks away, and whilst the 40th anniversary collection appears to be sold out, the physical version is still available at a cheaper price of $108 with free shipping HERE.
The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5th.
