I mean, is there any good alternative to Unity or Octavius? These game engines are good, but they just don’t work for me (Unity doesn’t export, and Octavius won’t launch). Please help — I have an awesome idea for a game on the 3DS.

That would be a far more useful thread title than "How to make games for the 3DS", wouldn't you say..?

Take a look at your favorite homebrew projects. Many of them are open-source and provide documentation on the tools they used.

First of all, I like 3ds, as I’d like to make it a bit more popular in society and attract more people to work on it.I haven't been updating tools for it recently, and I rarely interacted with the life of the forums, I just installed Octave (yes, I found out the correct name) and it just stupidly wouldn't start, an error popped up and that's it, I tried on different components, and even on powerful hardware (my brother, but the problem remained) yes and there are few videos on this topic in yotube (only a few showed unity, lovepoint, and octave), but I'm generally silent about ds, because I only came across 3 videos on this topic, I just wanted to get help and implement a unique game for a unique system, I probably have to abandon the idea and switch to psvita because She's being eaten by the same fork on Godote
