We now have an update on a huge GTA 6 trial, from an unlikely source.
As shared by GTA Vice, a LinkedIn post has updated the public on Arion Kurtaj’s trial. The Red Lion Chambers posted this:
Arion Kurtaj has been assessed as fit to plead following two years of treatment at a secure hospital. He is due to stand trial on 9 November 2026 at Woolwich Crown Court for offences he is alleged to have committed as a child.
The Red Lion Chambers’ Trevor Archer and Andrew Herd will be defending Kurtaj in this trial.
Kurtaj was sentenced to an indefinite hospital stay order after being deemed unfit to stand trial in 2023. Last July, that order was lifted, as Kurtaj grew up to become an adult, and doctors also determined he was no longer so dangerous to require life detainment.
As much as this trial will be a test for how much Take-Two can punish leakers, it will also be a test for the UK judicial system.
