《Nintendo Switch Sports Resort》Spocco Points 刷取攻略
Spocco Points farming guide for Nintendo Switch Sports Resort
Today, we’re going over the best Spocco Points farming methods in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort.
Spocco Points are the central currency in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, and they’re used at the Item Center to purchase clothes, equipment, hairstyles, and pretty much all of the game’s customization options. Each week, there are two weekly item collections available alongside a monthly collection. That means you’ll be needing a boatload of Spocco Points every single week to get them all.

First up, playing online is absolutely optimal if you’re going for max points efficiency. You get an online bonus of around 200 points per round, so it makes a huge difference. Generally speaking, the most point-efficient sports share two important traits: the matches finish quickly, and they’re played with a single Joy-Con. A single controller means the sport in question won’t require as much focus, which is a good thing because you’ll be mindlessly playing over and over for around two to three hours just to finish a single item collection.
The absolute best farming method that we’ve seen is simply to play Thumb Wrestling online over and over. If you win, you can earn around 400 points for a match that only lasts a couple of minutes. Of course, doing that over and over again does get kind of boring, but the other sports take too long to be efficient for farming. Golf, for instance, is far too slow, but it can at least reward almost 800 points. The same goes for basketball, too. Bowling is a decent backup option – it takes much longer than Thumb Wrestling, but you can team up with a friend to play online and continue to earn points.
You might think it’d be a good idea to play a quick sport like Table Tennis in local multiplayer and have the second player throw the game to end it faster. This only gives around 70 points, so it isn’t worth it even though it’s easy. In the original Nintendo Switch Sports, I always tried to earn enough points to get the week’s item collection all in one go. This isn’t the best approach in Resort, however – every day, there’s a 1,000-point first play-of-the-day bonus. So you’re better off doing a little bit each day rather than all at once, if you’re trying to get all the items. That at least helps prevent you from burning out in a single session.
So, to summarize: Thumb Wrestling online over and over is the best way to earn points. But above all, have fun! You still earn points by playing other sports as well as the leisure sports, so I’d recommend only resorting to Thumb Wrestling spam if you don’t really feel like playing any particular sport. It’s going to take many tens of thousands of points to get all the items – and as a reminder, you can’t pick the one you want. It’s a random pull.
