SnowRunner Update 44.0 Patch Notes Bring Season 19, New Trucks and Vehicle Fixes

SnowRunner Update 44.0 is now available, introducing Season 19: Research & Restore alongside new trucks, vehicle improvements and bug fixes. Released on October 20, the update takes Saber Interactive’s off-road driving simulator to the Swiss Alps, where players can tackle new contracts across three snow-covered maps.

Alongside the additional content, Update 44.0 addresses several problems affecting the Mercedes-Benz Mammute and 3850 trucks, including handling, collision detection and visual issues. Players can also expect crash fixes and improvements across multiple platforms.

What Does SnowRunner Season 19 Add?

Season 19: Research & Restore introduces Switzerland as a new playable region, consisting of three maps set in the Swiss Alps. The expansion focuses on scientific research, tourism and infrastructure projects, with players tasked with restoring a space observatory while navigating mountainous terrain and challenging winter conditions.

Two heavy trucks join SnowRunner’s vehicle roster: the Wortek 250T and DERRY “SAVIOR.” The Wortek 250T is a versatile vehicle featuring a large fuel tank and numerous customization options, while the DERRY SAVIOR is an 8x8 heavy truck designed to transport substantial loads across difficult terrain.

According to the official Update 44.0 patch notes, Season 19 also introduces several new vehicle add-ons:

  • Wortek 250T Kung and Maintenance Frame Add-on.
  • Wortek 250T sideboards with fuel tanks, available in one-slot and two-slot configurations.
  • DERRY SAVIOR sideboards with two-slot and three-slot configurations.
  • SAVIOR Service Kit.

These additions expand the customization and cargo-hauling options available to players exploring the new region. The expansion is included in the Year 5 Pass and is also available separately.

Season 19 follows several weeks of testing through SnowRunner’s Public Test Server, where players were able to try the new vehicles and maps before release. Saber Interactive used this period to address numerous issues involving the trucks, cargo handling and mission objectives.

Beyond the new Season 19 content, Update 44.0 introduces significant improvements to the Mercedes-Benz Mammute and Mercedes-Benz 3850, two vehicles added through the recent Mercedes-Benz Trucks Dual Pack 2.

The Mammute receives an adjusted cabin center of gravity, more forgiving axle collisions and changes to its wheels that favor mud tires. Saber has also fixed rear wheels shaking in deep mud, cargo clipping through the Sideboard Bed and snow textures appearing inside the cabin.

Several problems affecting the Mammute’s Covered Flatbed add-on have been addressed, including missing collision detection, an incorrect center of gravity and fuel canisters clipping through the vehicle. The truck also receives updated engine audio.

Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz 3850 benefits from a 3.5-degree increase to its wheel-turning angle, alongside improved axle and frame collisions. The update also allows the truck to transport burnt logs, fixes problems with its Towloops upgrades and introduces new vehicle audio.

Other vehicle adjustments include fixes for the Pacific P12’s SLEI-64 Loading Crane, the Chevrolet Kodiak C70’s Heavy Duty Lowboy Trailer and the Western Star 6900 XD’s crane mounts. Several trucks also receive improvements to lighting on bumpers, protection equipment and roof-mounted accessories.

Update 44.0 addresses a number of technical issues across platforms. Nintendo Switch 2 players should no longer encounter an out-of-memory crash that could occur after extended single-player sessions, while a PlayStation 4 fix prevents the loading progress indicator from taking more than 60 seconds to appear.

PC players also receive corrections to the Content Library, including missing Year Pass purchase confirmations on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and a broken link to the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Dual Pack 2 on Epic.

Additional fixes address incorrectly available contract trailers, visual problems, crashes and localization issues. The update also reflects the renaming of PROS to saber.games throughout the game’s interface.

With Season 19 introducing another substantial region and two new vehicles, Update 44.0 gives SnowRunner players fresh challenges while addressing several technical problems reported during recent updates.
