MMO Week in Review: RuneScape 4, Aion 2
We’ve had three RuneScapes, yes, but what about fourth RuneScape? Hope you wanted that because this week, Jagex finally put a name on the new MMORPG it’s been working on for years, and it is indeed RuneScape 4, which the studio says will operate alongside the other versions.
Meanwhile, Aion 2 made its official debut in the west having successfully completed headstart, LOTRO delayed its fall expansion, we lamented the fate of New World, Richard Garriott was serious about trying to reclaim Ultima and presumably Ultima Online, and Throne and Liberty confirmed its move back to NCsoft in November.
Read on to catch up with the very best of this week’s MMO news and opinions today as every Sunday (since 2010!) in Massively Overpowered’s Week in Review!
