Surprisingly, Werewolves Within is the highest-rated live-action film adaptation on Rotten Tomatoes. I've never watched it though.

Its really funnny. Milana Vayntrub and Sam Richardson are great in it.
People gave Resident Evil Damnation positive reviews? Were they drunk? Or did they not watch the movie?

It should be noted for stuff like Onimusha and Resident Evil: Damnation, they both have only 5 reviews.
Edgerunners has 16.
Arcane S2 has 63.
TLOU S1 has 486 and S2 has 106.
Fallout has 121.
Obviously stuff like Arcane and Edgerunners are good, but yeah, they got way less reviews.

Who's the character on the right again? Looks like a Cyberpunk Edgerunners character.
Fallout out is the best I've seen by an absolute mile. I enjoy last of us but it's so tropey it's unbelievable. It's like they are sitting with a list and going through them all. Very telling that the best episode by far was not adapted from the game at all.
I liked Sonic 1 and 3, Mario was awful, Minecraft was slightly better but not great. I did like the Witcher and I also liked Halo but I knew it wasn't great deep down. I was ignoring what was up with it.

It was "ok". Better than Dragons Dogma and watchable enough to finish it so a 6/10 I would say. Rotten Tomatoes has more or less just a thumps up or thumps down system so if everyone would give someting a 7/10 that would be translate to 100% recommended. That is also why in my opinion a lot of stuff has far too high or low percentages and I`m always suprised why people often just seem to look at RT for whatever reason. The number on a lot of these adaptions seem to be far too high for what they are especially compared to other films/tv shows/animes that are better with lower %, but in the end the scores aren`t really a rating.

Steins only has 6 reviews, wouldn't put much thought into this and also explains why some are just missing.
Halo is at 80%. It got 70 for S1 and 90 for S2.
Also, some of these shows/movies have just a handful of reviews.

Out of the ones I've seen recently:
- Stein's Gate is a masterpiece and one of the best shows out there, full stop
- Fallout is really enjoyable and much better than the games, can't wait for season 2
- Last of Us is well made but not that interesting to me, follows the story of the games too closely for my taste and I don't like some of the casting choices. Like TechnicPuppet said it's pretty telling that the best episode by far is the one with an original story.
- Mario movie is dumb nostalgic fun
- Uncharted is one of the most boring hollywood blockbusters I've seen in a while, Sully is horribly miscast.
My favorite video game adaptation not named Stein's Gate is probably the Lucario Pokemon movie.

Clannad also had a great anime adaptation, especially After Story. But it's nowhere to be found on Rotten Tomatoes.

CLANNAD is my favourite VN of all time (alongside Fata Morgana/Steins;Gate), but S1 of the anime is pretty mid. After Story is right up there though.

I agree Clannad's first season wasn't that good, but the second season Clannad After Story is a masterpiece.

They both share the number 1 spot with four other adaptations. I only listed them first and second based on chronological order, but the ranking is the same as the four that came after them.
at what point is something not a "video game adaptation" anymore? I ask this specifically with regard to Pokemon Concierge, because it just seems like another spinoff in a long running multimedia franchise that already has feature length animated films.

I think it deserves some credit for its name
Never cared about the 3D RE movies, wasn't aware they were well regarded (Or atleast one).
Reminder that RT is not Metacritic, it is not a measure of quality but of broad acceptability (a measure which fails when something only gets like 8 reviews)
I always forget that Steins;Gate was a video game. Arcane, Fallout, and Cyberpunk are all recent bangers. Especially Arcane. I don't even play Leage and I fell in love with it.
