Well not so much Ocarina of Time and rather generic Zelda Theming for the 40th Anniversary.

But damn.

Not a huge deal, but it's Zelda 40th anniversary themed, not OOT specifically. I was thinking we might get some sneaky details about the game on the packaging or something

I hate the joycons and I bought a cheap controller that I kind of hate also lol...it has the A and B reversed and it doesnt power up the Switch...hopefully the Pro Controller does...might grab this one,even at the hefty price in Canada(119 bucks)

Oh nooooo they look so good.

The console is gonna sell out immediately and I will be a responsible adult and not buy a 2nd Switch 2 just for colors.

Are the switch 2 pro controllers the exact same as the switch 1 pro controllers, in terms of quality?

Edit to clarify but I like the solid, heavier feeling of other console controllers. The switch pro controllers feel too light and plastic-y, almost kind of toylike. Like they'd be easier to break. (I've never broken one but still.)

I'm glad I waited on a pro 2, but we'll have to see if the budget allows DX. I think that's the best custom switch dock we've gotten ever tho. But I'm fine. Been thinking about putting some stickers on mine actually

Definitely a Zelda 40th presentation coming soon… I still believe a dedicated direct isn't off the table, tho an opening segment for the Sept general(which happens either way is possible too). But if this is leaking that means they're in the distribution chain which usually points to an announcement in the next 2-3 weeks

Not the biggest fan of the Pro Controller design, but I love those Joy-Cons.

oh thank goodness i'm not crazy about the designs here. they would have had me for another $500 + $90 for sure otherwise

the designs aren't bad at all, but between my link between worlds 3ds and tears of the kingdom switch 1 + switch 1 pro controller i'm more than good on the gold triforce motifs for zelda-themed hardware

I'm surprised there's no reference to a digital copy of Ocarina of Time being included. You think for sure they would launch an LE console with that?

They are lighter, but equally as good or better.

Better. They have a couple new features, like a headphone jack (thank god), and the thumbsticks are almost eerily smooth. Using it is a joy. I don't think there's a single thing that makes it worse than the last one

They're a good bit nicer imo, but still have D-pad sensitivity issues, though not quite as bad as the Switch 1.

I would hope Nintendo has smartened up enough not to put game specific stuff on console boxes anymore, in case of leaks like these.

Doubtful, the consistency in stuff like the logo and background image between the two pictures is too good.

Oh noooo I want those Joy-Cons but I doubt they'd be available separately.

Nintendo hasn't included games with their special edition consoles for a long time. For example, the Animal Crossing Switch didn't come with the game.

Damn. I can hold off, but my son is going to go apeshit for this. Wonder if they will sale the Joy-Cons separately.

I have those as well and absolutely love them. Easily my favorite looking Joy-Cons.

My son is currently rocking them on his Switch.

There was a time when I would absolutely trade in a console to get a limited edition version and/or pick up an additional controller or joy-cons but I won't do that anymore with how expensive things are now. Congrats to those who will or haven't taken the plunge yet though!
