Stranger Than Heaven Showcases Snoop Dogg and Japanese Culture
Way back at Summer Games Fest, a game was revealed that had two big names attached to it. No, these names aren't necessarily video game related, but they are massive culturally, and it was enough to make people ask, "What is this?" This trailer featured both Snoop Dogg and Tupac, two iconic American hip-hop artists (the latter having passed away ages ago), set in the world of the highly popular Japanese RPG series Yakuza. Developed by RGG Studio, Stranger Than Heaven will be a standalone story that explores the history of this world and features a ton of Japanese cultural elements from up to 100 years ago. We were recently invited out to a preview event in New York City to spend a couple of hours with the game.
