Three NBA Teams Get A Makeover

The latest update focuses on bringing NBA BOUNCE in line with the teams’ newer identities, with a few changes to spot when you next take to the court.

The Chicago Bulls’ much-loved mascot Benny the Bull is getting involved, sporting a new number 99 jersey for the season. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets are receiving broader visual refreshes, including updated colours, logos and team branding.

It’s a relatively focused update, but keeping the teams looking current should help maintain the connection to the real-world NBA as the new season approaches.

Family-Friendly Basketball Returns

NBA BOUNCE launched in September 2025, offering a more accessible alternative to the simulation-heavy approach of games such as NBA 2K. Players can choose from all 30 NBA teams, take to team-themed courts and unlock additional jerseys, sneakers and mascots.

There are several ways to play, including Training, Full Season and Party Mode, with solo and local co-op options available. The emphasis is on quick, energetic basketball that’s easy to pick up, whether you’re a seasoned NBA fan or just looking for something to play with family and friends.

We gave NBA BOUNCE 3.5/5 in our review, finding that its best moments came when playing with others on the same couch, particularly in the wonderfully wacky Party Mode. We did feel that playing alone could become repetitive, and that online multiplayer would have given the game a longer life.

Time To Get Back On Court

The 2026-27 Season Update is another small step in keeping NBA BOUNCE looking fresh, with the updated Timberwolves and Rockets identities joined by Benny the Bull’s new jersey.

If you’re after a relaxed, arcade-style basketball game rather than a deep simulation, NBA BOUNCE continues to offer an easy way to get a game going. Just don’t expect the latest team colours to do all the hard work for you – those baskets still need scoring.

The update is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Steam.
