- Classic
  - The old-fashioned way to play Street Fighter (or......any traditional 2D fighting game, for that matter). 6 attack buttons with special inputs to go with them, this gives you access to your character's complete kit.
- Modern
  - If you've ever played Smash, Granblue Versus, or DNF Duel, you should feel right at home here. While you lose 3 attack buttons compared to Classic, you gain easy inputs for supers & some specials. Whether you don't know how to use special inputs or can't due to one or more disabilities, Modern can help make Street Fighter more accessible to you.
- Dynamic
  - Only available for offline play, this allows you to mash your way into optimal play. This is ideal for those who don't know how to play fighting games (or, as mentioned in the Modern example, can't use the other two options due to one or more disabilities), but want to be able to press buttons & have fun with others in a local setting.

  - Taking up the role of this game's story mode, you can create your own character and inhabit the role of the protagonist taking on the world. From Metro City to Nayshall and many locales in between, you'll discover the meaning of strength through various moves you learn from the playable roster. This mode will be expanded to include the upcoming DLC characters.
- Battle Hub
  - The base download of Street Fighter 6, the Battle Hub is where all roads of the game converge. You can queue up for online matches, meet up with other players, get unique clothes for your avatar from the shop, fight other avatars using skills learned from World Tour at the center of the Hub, & so much more. We have no indication that SF6 is ending after this coming season. Hell, even SFV got at least five seasons. And SF6 is proving to be much more successful than that, especially in Japan.

Season 4 is confirmed and will start this summer.

It would be shocking if we don't get a Season 5 like SFV starting in 2027 and Ending in 2028 bringing the roster to 38 characters.

Past that is unknown. Maybe they go for more Seasons than before due to SF6's massive successes but therez no way to tell yet.

This is probably one of the least egregious character weights because you can just handwave it with "she's an alien" and "she's divine"

Street Fighter and Guilty Gear both have much more insane char weights especially given how some of these characters are built like a fridge

SF6 could easily be supported for a long time. Guilty Gear Strive is about to hit 5 years and the 19th DLC character and its far less popular then SF6 on every metric. SF6 has also managed to get more popular over time on player count, tournament entrants and twitch viewers which is unheard of for a fighting game and exceptionally rare for any multiplayer game.

Are we expecting another guest besides Tifa if her leak is true? How are we feeling? Maybe Capcom will do a full SF season > 2 guests season looping pattern? I just hope, if there really is another one, that it's a cool addition like Terry, Mai and Tifa and not the average MK guest bullshit lol

After being uninterested in her announcement I'm quite looking forward to Ingrid now. She can put a lot of nonsense on the screen and looks very annoying.

Would love a fresh batch of stages for Season 4. I don't have many favourites at the moment, would love some brighter ones, or some time of day/weather options.

Best we can hope for with a balance patch is maybe they do a couple of qol/bugfix things on a couple characters. Like one of Alex's main bnbs only zangief falls out of sometimes and it genuinely makes the match up way harder than it should be since he can get a full punish if it happens

SF6 is enjoying success far beyond Capcom's wildest expectations at this point. Capcom set a lifetime goal of 10 million and this will probably hit it in the next 2 seasons.

There is absolutely no reason to end SF6 before 7 DLC seasons based on what we know now. Heck maybe they extend it to an 8th season if SF7 isn't ready on the expected timeline. They have the biggest luxury in this space that they can use the success of SF6 to delay the next game and just keep selling more DLC for this.

The only way it ends before 7 seasons is if somehow the playerbase starts trending down from here, but all the evidence points in the other direction that engagement is sky high (and still growing) across the board compared to prior SFs and really compared to any other FG. The Steam numbers, EVO numbers, aggregate sales all point in that direction.
