Cyberleak Threatens to Leak GTA VI Build

Grand Theft Auto VI could be facing its biggest leak yet, with CyberLeek now claiming it possesses a complete playable build of the game and threatening to release it publicly just weeks before launch.

According to reports from VGC and Insider Gaming, CyberLeek posted a new message claiming its GTA VI build contains the complete single-player story and can be played from the beginning through to the ending credits.

The claim has not been independently verified, and no complete playable GTA VI build has been publicly confirmed as legitimate. However, CyberLeek has already released multiple batches of unauthorized gameplay footage over the past two months, including a recent video containing roughly 25 minutes of previously unseen gameplay.

The latest threat is also directly connected to CyberLeek’s cryptocurrency. The group says it will release the claimed GTA VI build if the associated CYBERLEEK token reaches a $30 million market cap.

CyberLeek has also presented Take-Two Interactive with another way to prevent the alleged release. The group is demanding that Take-Two provide a proper physical disc version of GTA VI and issue a public apology.

That demand relates to Rockstar’s physical-release plans. GTA VI will receive a physical boxed version beginning November 12, but the package will contain a digital download code instead of a game disc.

CyberLeek has previously positioned its leaks as opposition to the lack of a traditional disc release, although the group’s continued promotion of its own cryptocurrency has also raised questions over its motives.

The threat comes after CyberLeek returned this month with another major wave of GTA VI material. A recent 25-minute gameplay leak  showed new story sequences, first-person driving, racing and other previously unseen gameplay involving Jason and Lucia.

No legitimate public download of a complete build has been confirmed, and players should be especially cautious of websites or files claiming to offer early access to the game.

The timing makes the threat particularly significant. Rockstar Games officially lists GTA VI for release on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, placing the launch just over a month away.

Rockstar Games and Take-Two have not publicly confirmed that CyberLeek possesses a complete playable build of GTA VI.
