Earlier today, CD Projekt RED announced that a major update will be released for Cyberpunk 2077 to commemorate the release of Edgerunner 2 on Netflix today.

Set to be released on October 22, Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.5 promises that this new patch will be a big one, as it even warrants a new REDstream from the studio.

CD Projekt Red has been hard at work expanding the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.

Unfortunately for the devs, one YouTuber has seemingly forgot the memo, and outed the major pieces of new stuff players should expect later this week.

Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners 2 Update Major Additions Leaked

YouTuber WesNemo is one of the content creators who managed to get their hands on the major update to Cyberpunk 2077 early, and for some reason, the person uploaded the video as public way too early. The video has since been pulled, but not fast enough as gamers managed to get a trove of info before tomorrow’s big REDstream showcasing the patch.

According to the video, the Dual Wielding Pistols in Cool Tree (Double Trouble perk) will be one of the major additions, as well as a new Edgerunners 2 Gig (Clamodown).

There will also be a new NC Tour mystery sidequest, five new clothing sets, and a new radio station that will play Edgerunners music from its soundtrack. It’s sad that there are also new additions just in the form of new skins. Glamdocs that customize your arm cyberware is said to be part of the mix, new hairstyles for both male and female V, Quadra skins are also available as part of Twitch Drops, and possibly the biggest one of all, the update will reportedly “bake in” Mod.io support on all platforms except the Switch 2. For console gamers, a Field-of-View slider, which has been a community-requested feature, is finally getting added.

For now, treat the leaked info as a rumor, since CDPR hasn’t commented on it yet. We’ll know for sure what else the studio has in store, as we should receive the official patch notes the day the patch is rolled out. MP1st will cover the update, so stay tuned.
