Manjuu Games, the devs behind the hit Azur Lane, has announced that its upcoming fantasy RPG, Azur Promilia, will kick off an English-version open beta test in Summer 2027, celebrating 20 million global pre-registrations. First revealed in March 2024, the title has since received approval in China, held an offline playtest in April 2025, and conducted its second CBT this February.

So, Azur Promilia’s English-version Open Beta test will run on a dedicated U.S.-based server, marking an important step towards expanding the game’s reach beyond China. Now, if you’re not aware, Azur Promilia is a fantasy RPG set in a world filled with magic, different civilizations, and fantastical creatures.

Here, you can bond with companions known as Kibo. These creatures are not limited to combat, as they can also help with everyday activities such as farming, crafting, and gathering materials. The gameplay and world design remind me of Genshin Impact and Palworld, blending fantasy exploration with creature companionship and life-sim elements.

So, next summer, you can bring your Kibo companions into battles or rely on them to support your in-game home activities. Like Azur Lane, this one also appears to focus on playable female characters.

In the latest Dev Letter, Manjuu Games explained that the English version will arrive after the initial launch due to differences in regional development timelines. However, fans are not very happy with the decision.

That said, the team has also released the first English promotional video, titled Kibo Safari, alongside the launch of the game’s official English X account. They are also celebrating the announcement with a community giveaway, with Apple AirPods Max 2 listed as the top prize.
