Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy Resonance will consist of between 30 and 40 hours of playtime in the main story. Optional content will add more to the game’s length, with a Final Fantasy Resonance demo available now to check out the start of the story.

Final Fantasy Resonance launches on October 22 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The standard edition for Final Fantasy Resonance will cost $49.99. A Digital Deluxe Edition will be available for $59.99 with bonus in-game items. Additionally, a Collector’s Edition will be available for $209.99 featuring the game, Digital Deluxe Edition bonuses, an artbook, soundtrack and unique FINAL FANTASY TRADING CARD GAME promotional card.
Final Fantasy Resonance will not have a upgrade path from the Nintendo Switch version to Nintendo Switch 2. In addition, save data from the Switch version of Final Fantasy Resonance is not transferrable to the Switch 2 version or vice versa.

FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE is based on the first story arc of the mobile game FINAL FANTASY Brave Exvius. Far from just a direct port, it has been refined and extensively rebuilt as a full-fledged console-quality RPG experience.
