Devsisters 与 Big Shot Pictures 合作制作《CookieRun》长篇动画电影

- Expanding the CookieRun IP, which has attracted more than 300 million users worldwide, into a cinematic experience
- Targeting a global theatrical release in 2029 to mark the 20th anniversary of the CookieRun IP

Devsisters has signed a partnership agreement with Hollywood studio Big Shot Pictures to produce a feature-length animated film based on the 'CookieRun' IP.
The partnership represents a strategic move to transform 'CookieRun' from a gaming franchise into a global entertainment property. The project aims to expand the CookieRun universe, which has primarily developed through games, into a cinematic experience for audiences worldwide.
Big Shot Pictures will lead the overall production, while Devsisters will work closely with the studio to help shape the film's core creative direction. The two companies are targeting a global theatrical release in 2029, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the CookieRun IP.

The 'CookieRun' franchise originated in 2009 with 'OvenBreak', a running game featuring the adventures of cookies that bravely escape a witch's oven. Since then, the franchise has expanded across various genres and business areas, growing into a global IP with more than 300 million cumulative users across 248 countries and territories.
North America was the largest market for the CookieRun IP in terms of combined revenue last year. In particular, the United States was the market where 'CookieRun: Kingdom' appeared as the only standalone game among YouTube's top 10 trending topics.
Beyond video games, the franchise's IP-related businesses, including trading card games (TCGs) and character merchandise, have continued to grow, particularly in the U.S. market.
Big Shot Pictures is a Hollywood studio founded by Brian Robbins, who previously served as Co-CEO of Paramount, as well as President and CEO of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon.
