Alpha Nomos 的节拍傀儡战斗登陆 Xbox、PS5 和 PC
Ready To Rock? Alpha Nomos’ Beat-Based Puppet Combat Lands On Xbox, PS5 And PC

When the world has fallen apart and murderous puppets are roaming the ruins, a musical instrument might not be the first weapon you’d reach for. In Alpha Nomos, though, keeping time could be the difference between survival and becoming part of the wreckage.
The rhythm-action roguelite from RibCage Games is out now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, with Xbox Play Anywhere support, challenging players to turn every strike into part of a much bigger performance.

Turn The Beat Into A Weapon
Alpha Nomos puts players in the shoes of Cello, who must battle through a ruined world where the music has gone wrong and the puppets have become deadly. Alongside her friends, she’ll explore abandoned cities and a corrupted circus, searching for answers about the mysterious force of music and what brought this world to its knees.
The unusual setting is only half the story. Combat is built around rhythm, with attacks and moves timed to the soundtrack to unleash more effective combos. Rather than having the game automatically snap your inputs to the beat, Alpha Nomos registers each action exactly when you press it. Learning the timing is therefore part of mastering the combat, rewarding players who get into the groove rather than simply hammering away at the controls.
Instruments With A Sharper Edge
Cello’s arsenal is made up of weapons based on real instruments recorded live by musicians. That includes the cello itself and the Xyloblades, which turn the xylophone into something considerably more dangerous than an instrument you’d expect to find in a school music room.
As you fight, the soundtrack builds alongside your performance, making combat feel like a piece of music that develops through your actions. Every well-timed strike contributes to the spectacle, tying the rhythm directly to the action rather than leaving it as background noise.
Every Run Can Sound Different
As a roguelite, Alpha Nomos gives players reasons to experiment from one run to the next. Musical power-ups such as Reverb, Flanger and Delay can be collected and stacked, changing both Cello’s combat capabilities and the sound of the run itself.
The combinations you choose help shape your approach, so the same weapon can become part of a different musical and combat arrangement depending on your upgrades. Between runs, Maestro’s move shop lets you expand your arsenal, while a timing-offset option provides a way to adjust the beat to suit your setup.
That attention to rhythm should be particularly interesting for players who want precision to matter. Alpha Nomos isn’t simply asking you to follow a soundtrack; it wants you to learn how to fight within it.
Can Cello Restore The World’s Rhythm?
With its puppet-filled wasteland, instrument-based arsenal and soundtrack that responds to the action, Alpha Nomos has a distinctive identity among action roguelites. Remember, music isn’t just something to listen to while fighting, but the very thing that makes the fighting work.
Alpha Nomos is out now on Xbox Series X|S (through the Xbox Store), PlayStation 5 (here’s your PlayStation Store link) and PC via Steam. If you’re ready to trade conventional weaponry for a cello and a set of Xyloblades, RibCage Games’ musical battle against the murderous puppets is waiting for you to find the beat.
