Just a few days ago, Jagex released a feature-packed update for RuneScape: Dragonwilds, that also applied more fixes to the World Save data issues.

Today, the developers released a hotfix on all platforms, and will appear as RuneScape: Dragonwilds update 1.001.001, and this resolves issues connected to corrupted save file, and more.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds Hotfix Resolves Technical Issues on October 17

Issues fixed by the hotfix include:

– Resolved an issue where the “Corrupted Save File Detected” Modal Popup was unfocused meaning controller users weren’t able to bypass it.

– Fixed an issue where Dedicated Servers would encounter a crash when Ranged Special Attacks hit certain enemies.

Jagex also has a note for Switch 2 players: “Switch 2 players, an important note for you: This update will not be hitting your consoles today. However, the team has found a solution in which you will be able to still crossplay with others who have already updated. This comes from your feedback about not wanting to be blocked from crossplay while Nintendo approves updates.”

There are other issues acknowledged by the developers as well, and this is the Air Staff’s combos, stating, “We’re aware of the issues affecting the Air Staff’s 4th Combo hit currently not applying on-hit damage, and a freeze when splitting stacks within chests. These are issues that we’re on track to fix, but we want to give these adequate time to test and verify these fixes prior to submission. We’re targeting a fix for these next week, with the requisite time taken for it to be processed by console partner platforms.”

Expect another patch soon, though no date has been given.
