《The Wolf Among Us Remastered》Switch版跳票，PS5/Xbox/PC版维持10月29日发售

Telltale has delayed the Nintendo Switch version of The Wolf Among Us Remastered past October 29, while the PS5, Xbox and PC versions keep their launch date.

The studio said on X that the Switch version “needs a little more time and will launch later”, with timing to come. October 29, 2026 still stands for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, where the game is listed on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Why the delay, and what is missing from the statement

In a fuller statement, the team said it was “taking some additional time to ensure we deliver the experience Nintendo players deserve” and that an updated Switch date would be shared as soon as it could. No new date was given, and none has been set.

One absence stands out: the statement never mentions Switch 2. The remaster was previously announced for both the original Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, and whether the newer version is delayed alongside it is not addressed anywhere in the announcement.

This would have been the first time The Wolf Among Us appeared on a Nintendo platform, with Bigby Wolf’s return to Fabletown carrying upgraded character models, revamped environments, a toggleable black-and-white Noir Mode, five fully playable deleted scenes and more than an hour of bonus content.

Australian pricing for the remaster is not confirmed either. Telltale has said it will share pricing and discount details on October 20, days before the launch on other platforms.
