First post in a forum for quite some time now 
I'm a big fan of Ambilight and I'm currently using Jellyfin and a plugin to dynamically create ambilight data for movies and series which then gets streamed upon playing, works splendid so far and I was wondering if the same could be achieved with the current level of access we have up until 13.60, including a possible HV exploit, if it ever is released.
Would it be possible to create a payload that runs in the background which gets the current image in the framebuffer, samples it down to 320x240 (for example) and then encodes it for something like Hyperion or Hyperion-NG, or perhaps talks directly to WLED? I assume that we need an HV exploit, but I'm not sure. Just a fun topic I'd like to discuss
