VERISMO is an operatic tragedy visual novel set in 1920s Sicily where a ghost and a carnival clown plot revenge on the man who ruined their lives.
In VERISMO you follow Vittoria, whose father was murdered ten years ago by a worker who now returns as the owner of a popular carnival. She teams up with a wayward circus performer who also holds a grudge, and together they scheme to teach him a lesson at a deadly price. You will explore maps inspired by real Sicilian locations, enjoy hand drawn illustrations and cutscenes, and experience one week by day and night.
It’s a beautiful looking game, inspired by the realism operas of the early 1900s, and filled with haunting moments and an atmospheric carnival. Check it out for a spirited time.
