AMD's next-generation graphics cards featuring the RDNA 5 architecture may not arrive until the second half of 2027, according to a new leak.
According to Kepler_L2 (via VideoCardz), AMD is not expected to introduce desktop RDNA 5 GPUs before Computex 2027. The first chip in the lineup is said to be the mid‑range AT2, with other variants reportedly following in 2028.
Separate rumours around AT2 point to clock speeds between 3.1GHz and 3.4GHz and a 70‑CU configuration, but there's not much we can say for expected performance at this time.
Code found in recent driver updates indicates that future consumer cards will adopt GDDR7 memory, offering higher bandwidth than current GDDR6‑based models. Display logic improvements are also expected through Display Core Next 6 (DCN6).
