PressEngine 宣布“The Pre-Show”——面向游戏开发者与媒体的全新线下活动

Tired of yet another digital showcase of upcoming games? PressEngine are aiming to combat the fatigue shown in the industry and are introducing a brand-new physical event for video game developers, content creators and media. The Pre-Show #1 will be held in London next month and will feature titles due for release over the coming year.

As media, there’s nothing quite like being able to sit down with a developer and talk through and get hands-on with a game, and according to the team behind it, this is the main reason that ‘The Pre-Show’ has come into existence. Gareth Williams, co-founder of PressEngine, had this to say about the new event. “Our industry has become too reliant on digital broadcasts and remote previews, which ultimately reduce authentic engagement for both creators and journalists. Digital streams cannot replace the spark of sitting side-by-side with a developer, playing a build, and building rapport and relationships. The Pre-Show is built specifically around relationship-building and discovery, with every game given equal exposure.”

The event has been designed to give game developers a ‘plug and play’ setup, enabling them to share their titles with a wide range of journalists and creators.
