Hello everyone, im 12 and thought i'd share how i fixed every supercard sd flashcart problem with a buncha trial and error, so this could probably save yall like a hundred bucks if you read this before buying a flashcart like the everdrive. Now i will give the tutorial to get high quality videos on crappy $10 flashcarts like the super card sd. first make a few downloads, first get super card sd, heres the link: https://gbatemp.net/download/supercard-sd.19245/ and then get SPECIFICALLY mateo1.4.0 any other mateo WILL NOT WORK you need 1.4.0. heres the link: https://github.com/kran27/Meteo-AVI-to-GBA if this isn't the right link my bad, i was having trouble finding it. after making those downloads, read what im about to say before finding the video you want, its important. 1 minute or less videos is perfect quality, 2 minutes or more is perfect quality with very slightly hindered audio volume. 3 minutes or less is near perfect video quality with audio quality that starts getting a bit quiet. 4 minutes or less is good video quality with quiet audio, and 5 minutes or ok video quality with very quiet audio. BUT if you pick out a video with like dragon ball z quality where you can tell it was made in the 1900s, you can
get MUCH longer videos. after finding your video, do NOT make it go from .mp4 to .avi. even though people tell you to, dont do that. turn it from .mp4 to .mpeg using websites. after you have you .mpeg file, put your gba sd card into your pc and make a new filder on it called videos, and then find a random .gba file you have on there, and press copy paste, take the pasted file and drop it into your new video folder. After that, rename the .gba file that you put into the video folder from whatever its called, to trash.gba and then ignore it for now. it will be useful later on. now, go into mateo1.4.0 that i had you download earlier, and put your .mpeg video file into the input section, and then make the output section your file called trash.gba, that you had recently put into the new videos folder. this replaces whatever was inside of trash.gba, into the video that the .mpeg file had inside of it. and now name the file with the section under the output thing, its hard to miss. and then put these very specific settings into mateo1.4.0: Bitrate: 120 video properties: turn on no resize and keep every other option off. doing that should make crop say 4:3, make resize have a check mark, make framerate say auto, make filter say 4 times sampling, make brightness be checked on, and the box next to brightness say 1.33. DONT CHANGE THE SETTINGS TO WHATEVER YOU WANT. because it wont work, and i picked those settings for a reason. after you can confirm all the things i said for settings is how they should be, press start, and remember the name you set for the video letter for letter, dont even miss a capatalization, if you need to even write it down on paper. after the conversion on mateo ends, X it out, and go to the videos folder inside the gba sd card, and change the files name from trash.gba, into (WHATEVER NAME YOU WROTE DOWN).gba for the love of god dont actually take (WHATEVER NAME YOU WROTE DOWN).gba literally, i mean the name i had you write down the the sheet of paper. after you have the (name).gba thing. go to super card sd app that i had you download, and put the (name).gba file into it, then go to the outpath section, and make the outpath the videos folder i had you make. after that, go back to the first section on super card sd, and press the button called "out" and after a few seconds a message should appear on your screen that says complete. after it says complete, go back to the videos folder on the gba sd card to confirm that there is now a (name).gba file, a (name).sav file, and a (name).sci file. after that, go to the my pc button, right click the gba sd card, and press eject. after that remove the sd card, and watch your high quality video on the gba! this project took me months of trial and error, and im so very proud of it, nice thing is, you can even use super card sd for games too! not just videos! as a matter a fact i'd recommend using super card sd every time you make a download for your gba, cuz then you can actually save your game. so yea thats apps gonna prove useful. but YEAH if you dont mind the process which actually doesnt even take long once you get the hang of it, you can save around $100 bucks by buying the supercard sd, instead of the pricey everdrive! I hope this helps, and if you have questions feel free to ask.
