Street Fighter fans will soon be able to battle opponents on their wrists, with a new $80 smartwatch inspired by Street Fighter 2.

From limited-edition perfumes that make you smell like Juri to drinkable trading cards and train station makeovers, Street Fighter hasn’t exactly shied away from eye-catching collabs.

Well, not to be outdone by Godzilla’s ultra-rare 1954 wristwatch and Pokemon’s 30th anniversary Casio collab, Capcom’s fighting game series has entered the ring with its own unique timepiece.

However, instead of just letting you keep track of the time and your overall health, the My Play Watch: Street Fighter II smartwatch comes with a dedicated gaming mode that lets you take your duels on the go.

Street Fighter gets playable smartwatch

According to the GameStop listing, the Street Fighter 2 watch features “fast gameplay” designed specifically for the watch. The store page notes that wearers can choose their fighter and face off against a continuing series of opponents, with attacks, counters, and timing determining how long you stay in the fight.

That’s not all either, as you can also customize the watch’s clock face with Fighter-specific graphics, animations, and sounds. So, if you’re a fan of Chun-Li or more of a Ryu kinda guy, then you’ll be able to flex your love for the series’ classic cast in style.

The Street Fighter 2 watch also tracks your steps, heart rate, and active calories in between gaming sessions. However, unlike other smartwatches, you won’t get Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, notifications, or a dedicated phone app. The sacrifices you have to make for being able to play Street Fighter on your wrist, hey?

Each watch comes with two interchangeable silicone straps, with the black version featuring grayscale pixel characters arranged in a pattern inspired by the game’s VS screens. Meanwhile, the red variant takes inspiration from classic Street Fighter arcade cabinet signage.

Alongside the two straps, the watch also comes bundled with a magnetic charging cable and a stand with the Street Fighter 2 logo printed on it. The My Play Watch: Street Fighter 2 edition is currently available for pre-order via GameStop for $79.99 and will be released on December 11.
