Marathon Update 1.1.9.5 Brings Vault Breaker Economy Changes, Armory Updates, and C.A.R.R.I.’s Return
C.A.R.R.I. 军械库回归至 Nightfall 刷新结束,并修复武器描述与档案统计问题。
Marathon update 1.1.9.5 brings Vault Breaker back with changes to event rewards and Armory availability. Solo players will earn more event currency, while several repeatable purchases now have lower weekly stock limits.
The update also brings back the C.A.R.R.I. Armory, schedules another Sponsored Night Marsh weekend, and fixes a handful of challenge and profile issues. Here’s what’s changing, based on the official patch notes.
In brief:
- Vault Breaker runs from October 20 through November 10, with 50% more Tier 1 and Tier 2 event currency for solo players.
- Several Vault Breaker Armory offers have reduced weekly stock, while certain Tier 2 purchases are restricted to weeks two and three.
- All Vault Breaker upgrades are available from the start, and the C.A.R.R.I. Armory returns through the end of the Nightfall refresh.
- Sponsored Night Marsh starts October 22, alongside fixes for Recon Trifecta Mastery and profile stats.
Vault Breaker Economy Changes Give Solo Players More Currency

Vault Breaker returns from October 20 to November 10, and solo players are getting a boost to their event earnings. Bungie has increased the Tier 1 and Tier 2 event currency they receive from Vault Breaker by 50%.
So, that gives solo players more currency to spend, although the Armory’s reduced stock limits will affect how often they can buy certain supplies.
Meanwhile, Monitor scan XP has been reduced by 50%. Bungie is also making a selection of Tier 3 standard contracts unavailable during the event, explaining that those contracts aren’t intended to be completed during Vault Breaker.
Vault Breaker Armory Gets Lower Weekly Stock Limits
Several Tier 1 repeatable offers now have fewer purchases available each week. The updated limits are:
| Tier 1 repeatable offer | Previous weekly stock | New weekly stock |
|---|---|---|
| Materials Pack 1 | 5 | 2 |
| Materials Pack 2 | 5 | 2 |
| Cryo Archive Key Template | 3 | 1 |
| Deluxe weapon | 3 | 2 |
| Deluxe Backpack | 3 | 2 |
| Deluxe Shield Implant | 3 | 2 |
Players who regularly buy these items will need to plan around the smaller weekly supply. The Cryo Archive Key Template, for example, is now limited to one purchase per week.
Certain Tier 2 Offers Arrive in Weeks Two and Three
Vault Keys 4, 5, and 6 will only be available to purchase during the second and third weeks of Vault Breaker.
The same availability window applies to these Tier 2 limited offers:
- DRRVISH
- Salt Wages
- Apiarist
- Biotoxic Disinjector
- Biotoxic Disinjector Ammo
All upgrades will be available to purchase from the start, so players can begin working toward those immediately.
C.A.R.R.I. Returns and Sponsored Night Marsh Starts October 22

The C.A.R.R.I. Armory has returned and will remain available through the end of the Nightfall refresh.
Sponsored Night Marsh is also returning for the upcoming weekend, starting Thursday, October 22.
Marathon Update 1.1.9.5 Weapon, Codex, and Profile Fixes
The remaining changes address a weapon description, challenge timing, and profile displays:
- Repeater HPR: Its description now correctly states that it reloads two rounds at a time.
- Recon Trifecta Mastery: Fixed an issue with the challenge’s timing requirements.
- Global Exfils: Fixed inconsistent profile stats when previewing different seasons.
- Profile stats page: Fixed an issue that could cause the page to appear blank.
The Repeater HPR change is a description correction. Bungie’s supplied notes don’t list a change to the weapon’s reload behavior.
