Nine Rocks Games has released a new patch for Way of the Hunter 2, bringing the game to version 1.2 across all platforms. Console gamers will see this as Way of the Hunter 2 update 1.000.007, and this brings a significant list of fixes.

Aside from bug fixes, today’s patch also includes new features such as selling purchased items, a new flashlight mode, and more.

Gears of War: E-Day has been available on PC, Xbox Series X|S and Game Pass since October 6 and seems to have been well received by critics and fans so far.

Way of the Hunter 2 Receives Patch 1.2 | 1.000.007 on October 8

GEAR:

Added: Ability to sell purchased items from Storage for 50% of their original price.
Added: New flashlight mode
Tweaked: Increased flashlight intensity
Tweaked: Issue where holding the Buy button after completing a purchase would continue the hold action
Fixed: issue where placed tents and deployable items would disappear from the map and Storage
Fixed: Hunter assist dispersion circle (aim assist) not representing the weapon accuracy correctly
Fixed: Tripod stands can now be used again after exiting Photo mode
Fixed: Missing accuracy boost information in Encyclopedia for Choke
Fixed: Aim assist now accounts for wind without requiring a shot to trigger recalculation

ANIMALS:

Fixed: Optimal energy and velocity values are now displayed in the bullet graph
Tweaked: Turkey escape behavior over longer distances during the following sequence: run, then fly, then run again. Further improvements to turkey behavior are planned to make their movement more natural.

DOG:

Fixed: Dog no longer walks in circles after being released when there are no obstacles nearby
Fixed: Dog being able to “climb trees” in some circumstances

MISSIONS:

Fixed: Sick moose in mission “Erynnis Lucilius” now stay within the highlighted area
Fixed: Challenge “Sell meat of a unique animal species in New Laurentia” no longer gets stuck at 14/15. If you have already completed the challenge, the counter will update with your next harvest.
Fixed: Missing interactions on NPCs

ENVIRONMENT:

Fixed: Improved multiple locations where the environment could appear as if the player were underwater, turning the screen blue
Fixed: Specific tree (Birch) model stretching
Fixed: Collisions on multiple locations (falling through roof, umbrellas colliding)
Fixed: Multiple locations in lodge where player could get stuck
Fixed: Low-res decals on assets when snowing
Fixed: Character clipping through the bridge in Popobawa Vlei region in Kilimaya Reserve

UI:

Tweaked: Adjusted sound cues for better visibility on snow
Fixed: The main menu freezing when you canceled the job application form
Fixed: The game getting stuck when accepting a multiplayer invite with a brand-new save
Fixed: Incorrect animal icons displayed in the Opportunities window for Infrastructure locations in Kilimaya Reserve
Fixed: Ability to sleep for 0 hours
Fixed: Weather forecast icons updating few seconds after sleep
Fixed: Unable to move camera with controller in Photo mode
Fixed: Unable to move camera around after pausing the game in Photo mode
Fixed: Weather setting required 2 clicks to activate
Fixed: “Get DLC” text still present in shop even after purchasing the DLC
Fixed: Empty encyclopedia for all players in multiplayer
Fixed: Fulfill opportunity button set on hold, instead of press

SETTINGS:

Fixed: Extra space between numbers in several localizations
Fixed: Global illumination quality settings explained in description
Fixed: Missing voiceover for Hearth & Hunt Headquarters intro cutscene in Simplified Chinese and Italian localization
Fixed: Fixed description of Arcade zoom to better describe the functionality in the Encyclopedia

Hopefully the game receives as much support as its predecessor.
