《燕云十六声》2.3版本概览：新增青州区域与墨缘阁门派

Everstone Studio and NetEase Games have prepared the next game version update for the open-world Wuxia RPG Where Winds Meet.

The update brings new locations to the game, adds new challenging bosses and expands characters wardrobe. Moreover, the developers finally added new sects for players to join, with new activities and special events. WWM Version 2.3 rolls out on October 15, 2026.

In Where Winds Meet, Chinese martial arts meet a seamless open world. Roam vast landscapes, uncover hidden ruins, and descend into layered underground catacombs. Steal techniques from martial sects, wield an arsenal of classic wuxia weaponry, and master over 30 mystic arts – from the flowing balance of Tai Chi to the force of Lion’s Roar.

Version 2.3 Overview

Region: Qingzhou – Eastern Peak

Locations: Majestic coastal-mountain area featuring Mount Tai, Yellow River shoals, and scenic vistas.
Requirements: Reach Lv. 32 + complete Qinghe Main Chapter Heaven Has No Pier. Accept Lost Chapter Away to Qingzhou to enter.
Culture: Hospitable locals, folk customs, injustice quests, Meow Meow challenges, and new Oddities.

Lost Chapter: Away to Qingzhou

Story-driven journey: Sail at dusk to Qingzhou’s shores, then ascend the Eastern Peak by night toward the Inkbound Order.
Adventure: Quests focuse on exploration, atmosphere, and unlocking the new region.
Rewards: The quest item Hometown Courier and other items.

Jianghu Legacies

Riddled Echoes (northern slopes of Mount Tai): Investigate a fallen star, cryptic ruins, and a sealed stone palace filled with music and mystery.
Sea Shepherd (Tranquil Pier shores): Follow a young girl guiding the drowning and uncover legends of the Eight Immortals, treasure barges, and goats.

Both reward decorations, inscriptions, Medicinal Tales, Echo Jade, and more.

New World Bosses

Tidewatcher (spear wielder roaming the shoals)
Old Raftsman (staff wielder along the riverbanks)
Shuttlecock Champion (leader of Dragonfall Camp)

Weapon and Martial Path

Waist Drum: rhythmic combos blending drum beats and flowing silk ribbons.
New Silkbind Path: Wings (includes Museflow Waist Drum + Willowbend Fan).
Added new Legendary/Epic Inner Ways, gear sets (Cloudshear, Reinchime), path guides, and free conversion attempts.

New Sect: Inkbound Order

A scholarly academy focused on the Six Arts, exams, and traditional learning.
Sect introduces the Dual Sect system. Players can join as a Visiting Disciple while keeping their existing sect.
Players can encounter Master Goose in markets to receive a Primary Exam pass and begin the admission process.

Solo Mode level cap increased (to 18) with new season Ever Aflame.
New Sword Trial / Hero’s Realm challenges and Arena Season 5.
Qingzhou Oddities: Bronzepeal Zhong, Earthsong Xun, Hidesound Gu, Woodtone Yu, Bamboonote Chi.
Folk Customs: Everbloom Spree (bazaar), Exam Vigil (proctor duties).
Injustice Quests focused on local courtesy and hospitality. Meow Meow exam challenges across Qingzhou.

Qingzhou Opening Month (Oct 15 – Nov 14, 2026): Inkbound Order opens its doors for a special month of free teaching and guidance while on agricultural recess.
Exam Showdown (Oct 15 – Nov 14, 2026): Competitive exam-themed challenges tied to the Inkbound Order’s quarterly tests.
New Armament Drill (Oct 15 – Oct 29, 2026): Limited-time weapon training event focused on practicing and mastering new armaments.
Bubble Party (Oct 22 – Nov 14, 2026): Lighthearted event centered around blowing and interacting with colorful bubbles.
Merchant’s Way (Oct 22 – Nov 14, 2026): Trading and shopping event featuring rare wares and market activities.
