Fallout Day 2026今日启动,开启五天庆祝并预告Fallout 76 World Pets更新
Fallout Day 2026 Kicks Off Today With Five Days of Celebrations and a Fallout 76 World Pets Reveal
Bethesda于10月19日启动Fallout Day 2026五天庆祝活动,取消往年直播改为每日社交帖子,并在10月22日首曝Fallout 76的World Pets更新。
Fallout Day 2026 begins today, October 19, and Bethesda is running the franchise’s annual celebration across five days with no live broadcast. Bethesda will post new content every day through Friday, October 23, including community spotlights, Wasteland giveaways, updates for existing games, and a first look at the Fallout 76 World Pets update.
The plan comes from the official Bethesda Game Studios account on X, which described this year’s event as “a little different.” The studio confirmed there will be no live broadcast and promised something new each day across its social channels, including “the community, rad partnerships, existing Fallout titles, and a first look at the Fallout 76 World Pets update.” The full Fallout Day announcement on X lays out the five-day schedule.
Today’s opening day covers community spotlights and Wasteland giveaways. Thursday, October 22, is the one day with a confirmed content reveal, when Bethesda plans to show the World Pets update for Fallout 76 for the first time.
No live broadcast this year
In recent years Fallout Day centered on a live Fallout Day Broadcast that gathered announcements, music, and merchandise reveals into a single stream. That broadcast is gone this year. A broadcast sets one fixed deadline where every segment has to be ready at the same moment. Spreading the posts across a week lets Bethesda publish only what is finished each day, and it removes the risk of a padded broadcast built around a thin announcement slate.
The schedule gives smaller updates room to breathe. Fallout Shelter and Fallout 4 Creations rarely justify separate broadcast segments, but each receives a dedicated day alongside the headline announcement. The format lets those players reach the relevant update without waiting through unrelated segments.
Five days of social posts costs more attention than one broadcast and its single, clear list of announcements, and some days may carry little beyond giveaways and spotlights. In return, the longer window gives community members repeated reasons to check back, while giveaways and spotlights become daily features. Partnerships also receive a separate day instead of competing with the World Pets preview.
The five-day schedule
Bethesda assigned a theme to each day of the week. The announcement does not set a daily posting time or name one exclusive channel, so followers need to watch Bethesda’s official social feeds across the five-day schedule. Bethesda has not promised a daily recap page, replacement stream, or single hub page for every post.
| Date | Theme | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| October 19 | Community | Community spotlights and Wasteland giveaways |
| October 20 | Fallout Shelter and Fallout 4 | Fallout Shelter updates and a focus on Fallout 4 Creations |
| October 21 | Partnerships | Collaborations and out-of-game experiences |
| October 22 | Fallout 76 | First look at the World Pets update |
| October 23 | Fallout Day | A day for all fans to celebrate the franchise |
The five-day schedule runs from Monday through Friday. The week closes on October 23, the date Fallout lore marks the Great War, and the day the franchise has used for its annual Fallout Day celebration. Each theme targets a different slice of the fanbase. Wednesday is limited to partnerships and out-of-game experiences, and Friday names no product at all. Those descriptions leave the specific posts open.
World Pets is the date to mark
Thursday is a preview. The roadmap places World Pets in December but gives no day, platform split, or test period. October 22 marks the first look, while the playable Fallout 76 update remains scheduled for winter. Bethesda has already outlined World Pets on its own roadmap. In the official September 2026 Letter from the Directors, Bethesda said World Pets arrives this winter, in December, and that a player’s C.A.M.P. Pet becomes a “C.A.M.P.-panion” that levels up alongside them as they adventure together.
According to that roadmap letter, the interactions from C.A.M.P. Pets all carry over, with new commands to Stay, Follow, Protect, and Kill. Bethesda also ties the update to a return to Skyline Valley, where rising bounties explain why the Blue Ridge Caravan Company shuttered operations there. Bounty hunting in Skyline Valley is framed as a reason to take a newly combat-hardened pet out on a walk.
Existing C.A.M.P. Pets keep their interactions, while World Pets layers leveling and commands on top. Protect and Kill move the system into combat. Stay and Follow control positioning, so a pet can be parked at a location or brought directly into a fight. Bethesda has not yet explained whether leveling uses ordinary experience, separate milestones, or another progression track. Until those rules are public, players cannot plan the grind length, command unlock order, or companion progression. Thursday may answer those questions.
Fallout 76 is currently in its Slasher season, which GamerHeadlines covered in a Fallout 76 Slasher update guide. A first look at World Pets on October 22 signals what comes after that season. The October 22 first look covers the update slated for December; the same roadmap letter places Hideouts next spring and a Raven Rock expansion in summer 2027.
What is not on the schedule
Bethesda has not confirmed a major announcement to close the week. The studio has previously confirmed that Fallout 5, remasters, and a new Obsidian Fallout game are in development, as covered in GamerHeadlines’ report on Fallout 5 and the Obsidian project, but none of those projects appear on this year’s Fallout Day calendar. Nothing in the schedule points to an unannounced game reveal hidden in the week.
What remains unknown
Bethesda has not detailed every reveal, and the daily themes leave room for interpretation. The Fallout Shelter updates on Tuesday could be new content or limited-time events, and the Fallout 4 Creations focus does not confirm which creations will be featured. The World Pets first look may or may not come with a release date. It is also unclear whether Friday’s Fallout Day closes with any new announcement, hands the day back to the community, or includes a recorded recap after the five-day schedule.
