Real talk: How long do we think it takes for a Grand Theft Auto movie to get announced?
Rockstar 或于 2 年内受某工作室说服而公布《Grand Theft Auto》电影。当前《Call of Duty》近期公布电影，《Minecraft》电影已上映且续集在筹备，未推大型改编的剩余大 IP 含 Fortnite 与 Grand Theft Auto。
To be clear, I'm saying announced, not released. It could be announced and go through development hell. But I'm specifically focused on announced.
We're currently getting more and more adaptations of top video game IPs. Call of Duty recently got a movie announcement. Minecraft released a movie and has a sequel coming.
But obviously the two big IPs remaining that haven't had a major adaptation is Fortnite (if Minecraft can get a movie, so can that) and Grand Theft Auto. And arguably both IPs would probably justify a movie vs a tv show.
With GTAVI about to come out and be a huge event, I'm guessing a studio successfully convinces Rockstar within 2 years. But I'm going to guess some of you are in the "it's never happening" camp.
