Drakong 的 InfinaKore Telecaster Edition 吉他控制器开启预售

Rhythm games are making a comeback, and Drakong wants to give fans of the genre something a little different to rock out with. The company has opened pre-orders for its InfinaKore Telecaster Edition Guitar Controller, a $129.99 multi-platform controller featuring modular construction, extensive customization options, and a design inspired by Fender’s iconic guitar.

With games like Fortnite Festival and the upcoming Stage Tour keeping the genre alive, there’s renewed interest in dedicated guitar controllers. Drakong is hoping to capitalize on that enthusiasm by making the InfinaKore more than another plastic instrument gathering dust between gaming sessions. The controller supports PC, PC handhelds, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PlayStation, Xbox, smartphones, and smart TVs, although some platforms and connectivity options carry compatibility qualifications. Connection options include USB-C, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth.

Customization is where the InfinaKore gets interesting. The guitar features a modular design that allows players to replace or modify the body, upper fret buttons, tuner head, whammy bar, and strum bar using 3D-printed components. Drakong plans to release the necessary design files free of charge when the controller launches. That approach could give players considerably more freedom to personalize their controllers, particularly those already comfortable with 3D printing and hardware modifications.

Accessibility is another focus. Drakong says the InfinaKore is designed to work with open-source modifications, potentially allowing players to adapt the controller to their individual needs. The company is also introducing a Fret-Tapping D-Pad, offering an alternative approach to traditional guitar controller inputs.

The InfinaKore ‘Telecaster Edition’ Multi-Platform Edition carries a $129.99 MSRP, with pre-orders available now through Drakong’s website. Players who pre-order directly through Drakong will receive an additional set of clicky, low-profile Kailh Choc switches and a guitar pick strum bar at no extra charge. The bonus is exclusive to the pre-order period.

For longtime Guitar Hero and Rock Band fans, the prospect of another guitar controller is welcome enough. Whether the InfinaKore’s modular design and accessibility features can help it stand out will be worth watching.
