Ankama 动画《Welsh & Shedar》将在 Krosmoz YouTube 频道全球上线

Today, Ankama Animations announced the international release schedule for Welsh & Shedar, a new 12-episode animated adventure set in the Krosmoz. The series will be available worldwide (Japan excluded) on the new Krosmoz YouTube channel, with Episode 1 premiering on November 5, 2026, and Episode 2 following on November 6. After the two-episode launch, new episodes will be released every Thursday on YouTube.

A Journey Shaped by Friendship, Fate and Food

Set in the world of DOFUS, Welsh & Shedar follows Welsh, a kind-hearted young cook whose peaceful life in the village of Brassica is upended by the arrival of the dragon Asalar

and the hero Joris. Welsh’s journey draws him into a conflict involving the powerful Queen Zabelle and her son, Shedar – and toward discoveries that could reshape his destiny.

The series brings together Ankama’s French-created Krosmoz universe and Japanese animation talent. Produced in collaboration with Japan’s Studio Massket, the series is animated in Japan.

“When you’ve spent more than twenty years building a universe, it’s exciting to see what other artists find in it,” said Anthony Roux, also known as ToT, CEO of Ankama, writer and original creator of Welsh & Shedar. “Japanese animation has been part of my imagination for a long time. With Studio Massket, we had the opportunity to create something together within the Krosmoz. Welsh & Shedar carries that encounter, and I’m excited for audiences to discover this new side of our world.”

Meet the English and French Voice Actor Cast

For the international release, episodes will be available with Japanese, English, and French audio, with English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles.

The series’ Japanese opening theme, “Bokura no Miraie,” is performed by Hironobu Kageyama and Masami Okui. Kageyama also performs the ending theme, “Omuretsu.”

A Krosmoz Adventure that Continues Beyond the Screen

At Ankama, animation and games have always been part of the same story. With Welsh & Shedar, that connection becomes an interactive treasure hunt, linking what audiences watch on YouTube to what they play in-game. Codes hidden in episodes will unlock in-game quests, while clues scattered across multiple episodes will form a riddle for viewers to solve. Each new release offers another chance to spot clues, follow the trail and earn additional rewards and exclusive Welsh & Shedar–themed items in your favorite games. One reward from Episode 1 is Minikitt, an adorable pet to bring along on players’ in-game adventures. More surprises will be revealed when the series starts airing.

Quest codes can be redeemed in DOFUS and DOFUS Retro on PC, along with DOFUS Touch on mobile.
