Neo Forge MTG 1.0.17(PC、Mac、Linux 和 Android):Planechase、相同触发的“全部结算”与各棋盘增殖
Neo Forge MTG 1.0.17 (PC, Mac, Linux and Android): Planechase, Resolve All for Identical Triggers, and Proliferate on Every Board
Neo Forge 1.0.17 is out for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android. Once again, almost everything in it comes from what you asked for on Discord and here on itch.io: Planechase, a Resolve all button for long chains of identical triggers, proliferate that shows you every board, and a good batch of Ascent improvements.
There's a new Variant · Planechase switch next to the opponents on the home screen (on Android, in the Opponents panel). Every player gets a random planar deck, the active plane is always shown next to the phases (click it to read it), and you roll the planar die with "Planar Dice" in your command zone during your main phase. Planes and battles now show upright when you zoom in.
Identical triggers and "Resolve all"
Someone had an enchantment triggering six times and had to press OK six times. The rules don't let me merge six triggers into one (each one resolves on its own, and opponents can respond to each), but you no longer have to click through them:
- One line with a "×6". Identical triggers in a row show up as a single stack entry with a ×6, also on the big card in the middle of the table and on the Android stack badge. You can turn the grouping off in Settings.
- Resolve all (6). With two or more things on the stack there's a new button that passes priority until the stack is empty. It stops if an opponent casts something, or when you press Cancel, and any question a trigger asks still comes to you.
Multiplayer: proliferate and pile cards
- Proliferate on every board. Someone playing Atraxa couldn't select the opponents' permanents. It did work, but with 3-4 players only one opponent's board is on screen, so the ones you could pick on the other boards were easy to miss. Now opponent tabs light up with a blue dot when there's something you can pick on that board, and the prompt explains that only things that already have counters can be chosen, and what the "Mine / All" button does.
- Pile cards with several opponents. Cards that let "an opponent" choose (Curator of Destinies, Fact or Fiction, Steam Augury, Tasigur, Library of Lat-Nam...) used to say only "Chooser:" and wait for a click on a portrait, so the game looked stuck. Now they ask "Which player decides?" with a button for each player you can pick (on Android, only their badges light up in green). The same buttons show up when you win the coin toss and pick who starts, and when you split cards into piles the dialog tells you which pile your marked cards go to.
Ascent
- A random set. A new "Random" option under Cards when you set up a run picks one set with enough cards and leaves it selected, so you can see it, remove it or add more.
- Favourite arts. Tick "Remember these arts for future runs" in Your deck and the art you pick becomes your favourite: new runs, rewards and the shop use it, as long as the run allows that set. No more redoing your Japanese arts every run.
- Cut cards stay cut, and there's always a free pick. Cards you remove at a rest site, the shop or an event are no longer offered again in that run, and every reward includes at least one card outside your commander's synergy list.
- Put back what you picked (Android). Tapping a reward card picks it and long-pressing reads it, so one wrong tap used to lock the card in. Now a picked card stays highlighted and tapping it again puts it back (the bonus land too).
Decks and more
- Save a copy of a deck. A new "Save a copy" button (next to Rename on PC, in the deck menu on Android) duplicates the deck exactly as it is, arts, foils, sideboard and commander included, and you keep editing the copy.
- Adventure: basics from your Landscape Sketchbooks. The deck editor always offers the five basic lands, in the edition of your Landscape Sketchbooks (or the world's default one), like classic Forge.
- Random opponent decks from the list you want. "Random from..." now offers the same lists as your own random deck: your decks, Forge's decks, internet decks (PC) and each of your collections. On Android, picking the opponents' decks is also much faster.
- "Name a card" in your language. Cabal Therapy, Pithing Needle and the like now show the translated names with the English name after them, and you can search by either.
- Links tell you they opened. Every link shows a short "Opened in your web browser" notice, and clicking the same one again within a few seconds no longer opens another tab.
Android
- Every commander, and a Random that shows you the pick. The commander picker in Ascent and Commander Quest stopped at the first 60; now more load as you scroll, and Random picks from all of them, selects it and shows it first.
- Foil commanders. The zoomed commander in the deck editor offers "Mark as foil" next to "Change art", and there's a Foil chip on its row.
- Double-tapping a battle no longer gets the mode stuck. A second tap just leaves you on the table of the battle that's already starting. Same fix for Quest duels and puzzles.
Android players using Obtainium get it automatically from the GitHub release.
