SCS Software has revealed in a Steam news post three new editions of the DAF XG+ truck coming to Euro Truck Simulator 2 with the 1.62 Update: the Emerald, Sapphire, and 30 Years in Czechia Editions, each carrying a distinct paint finish, exclusive exterior accessories, and a specially designed interior.

For players who drive the DAF XG+, the announcement outlines new cosmetic options for the existing cab rather than a new truck chassis, adding more ways to customize its appearance and interior.

According to the preview, the 30 Years in Czechia Edition celebrates DAF’s 30-year presence in the Czech Republic. It uses a traditional royal orange paint job and unique anniversary logos, with exterior details that include a black air intake grille with painted trim, a matching black sunshield, a choice of black or original roof lights, and a unique black DAF badge linked to the engine power configuration. Drivers can switch that badge back to the original silver version. The edition also adds an additional black anniversary badge beneath the side XG+ badge, exclusive rear wheel covers, black wheel nuts with matching caps, and an illuminated DAF logo.

Inside, the 30 Years in Czechia Edition includes an exclusive Czech 30th Anniversary interior for the XG+ cab. The seats feature embroidered DAF 30 logos and premium upholstery in black leather or high-quality Alcantara fabric accents with orange diamond-pattern stitching. The upper bunk has Alcantara upholstery and a subtle grey pattern inspired by the Czech flag.

The Emerald Edition uses a Forest Dawn green paint job, a grille with painted trim, a colored sunshield, a white DAF logo, and an exclusive Emerald side badge. Exterior additions also include a black door handle with a painted accent, black side window trim, and a chassis side skirt with matching painted details for the 4×2 chassis configuration. Its interior includes floor mats, a diamond-pattern design inspired by emeralds on the mattress and upper bunk, and specially designed curtains.

The Sapphire Edition has a Sapphire Blue paint job, a black DAF logo, side window trim, and a painted chassis side skirt on the 4×2 chassis. The announcement does not itemize a separate Sapphire interior.
