《恐鬼症》慈善活动 Ghost Hunts for Hearts 回归并带来 Twitch Drop

Kinetic Games has announced in a Steam dev blog that Ghost Hunts for Hearts, the charity campaign for the co-op ghost-hunting game Phasmophobia, is returning. The event again runs in collaboration with the American Heart Association Liive, turning Phasmophobia streams into a fundraiser for the American Heart Association’s cause. The studio wants this year’s effort to be bigger and better by inviting the entire Phasmophobia community to join.

The event runs October 26 through November 2. During that week, a new Twitch Drop enters the campaign for the first time. Participating fundraising streamers can distribute the event-exclusive Advocate ID Card & Badge through any Phasmophobia stream. Twitch Drops are familiar to Phasmophobia players: the game’s 6th anniversary event earlier this year ran Twitch Drops alongside Double XP.

Last year, the Phasmophobia community raised more than $100,000 for the Heart Association’s cause. This year’s return adds a secret fundraising goal, which will be unveiled on October 26. If the community reaches that goal, Kinetic Games will unlock the Animated version of the Advocate set for all players.

How players take part in the event

The player-facing setup has two roles: streamers who fundraise and viewers who claim the Drop. Streamers who want to take part must register through an official sign-up form, which is a Microsoft Forms link. Registration is open now, ahead of the October 26 start. After registering, the Heart Liive team contacts them to make sure they have everything needed to host streams during the event week.

For viewers, the Advocate ID Card & Badge is distributed throughout the event week via any Phasmophobia stream hosted by a participating fundraising streamer.

The Twitch Drop item is the event-exclusive Advocate ID Card & Badge. The base version arrives through that Drop. The Animated version of the Advocate set is a separate unlock tied to the community goal, and it would be available to all players if the secret fundraising total is reached.
