《Backrooms Anomaly: Pools》在 Steam Next Fest 前推出免费试玩 Demo

The Loop Continues in Backrooms Anomaly: Pools

Backrooms Anomaly: Pools is ready to make players question everything they see. Developer Liminal Games has released a free demo of its upcoming first-person horror sequel on Steam, giving players a chance to explore its eerie poolrooms ahead of Steam Next Fest, running from October 19 to 26, 2026. The full game launches on January 22, 2027.

This time, the anomaly hunt takes players into a bizarre maze of tiled corridors, flooded chambers, and maintenance rooms. Your job is to study each area, spot anything that looks wrong, and decide whether to turn back or keep moving. Sounds easy, right? Not when every strange detail could signal something sinister.

The demo features 16 unique anomalies, including environmental changes and encounters with mysterious entities. Players must keep their eyes open and trust their observations if they want to make it through the unsettling complex.

Things get even more intense with two distinct gameplay stages. The Detection Stage tests your ability to spot unusual details and decide whether it’s safe to proceed. Meanwhile, the Survival Stage puts you under pressure, tasking you with photographing anomalies before time runs out. With multiple anomalies appearing at once, there’s little room for hesitation.

Players can download the free demo on Steam and wishlist Backrooms Anomaly: Pools ahead of its full release.

If you enjoy horror games that mess with your head rather than rely solely on jump scares, Backrooms Anomaly: Pools might be worth watching. Just remember: sometimes, the scariest thing is noticing that something has changed.
