Konami has confirmed that Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse launches on Thursday, October 15, although the publisher hasn’t released an official worldwide unlock schedule. Storefront information indicates that Steam will unlock the game at approximately 4 a.m. UTC on October 15, while PS5 and Xbox versions follow regional midnight releases.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is available in two editions, with Konami offering additional cosmetic items and digital extras for players purchasing the more expensive version.

The Standard Edition costs $29.99, while the Midnight Edition costs $39.99 in the US. Both editions launch on October 15, with no early-access period announced. The Midnight Edition includes:

Set in Paris in 1499, 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, the game follows Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, as she battles supernatural creatures using the legendary Vampire Killer whip. Its combat combines traditional Castlevania mechanics with new traversal abilities, equipment customization and an Arcana system that allows defeated bosses to become sources of new powers.

With its October 15 launch, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse brings the franchise back to its side-scrolling roots while introducing a new generation of the Belmont family.
