这款叫 2 Minute Drill 的网页应用让你测试能否比 NFL 教练更会叫战术
Think you can call plays better than an NFL coach? This app lets you find out

Week after week during the NFL season, thousands of fans claim they can coach better than the dozens of playcallers on the league’s 32 teams. Many of these fans don’t really know how much goes into the playcalling process, but now there’s a way to test whether you can call a play better than an NFL coach.
A fan created a website that lets you test your coaching and play-calling skills. The site gives you a specific situation from a real NFL game and lets you call your own plays. Then, you’ll see how the play works out and keep going until the game ends, giving you definitive proof of whether you can call plays better than an NFL coach.
New website lets you test your NFL playcalling abilities
The website, called 2 Minute Drill, was created by Twitter user @TwoMinuteDrill0 and offers a couple of different modes. The first is Daily mode, a Wordle-style game you can complete every 24 hours. In this mode, you’re given a random situation from an actual NFL game, and you must call plays that you think will work best.

You’re given the players on the field on offense and defense, the down and yardage, and the game clock and field position. You can even see player ratings, which give you the best information for calling a play. From here, you can select an offensive play, and the whole playbook is open to you. Rushing, passing, RPO, and trick plays are available, letting you stretch your playcalling prowess to the max.
Once you decide which play to call, you can run it and see how it turns out. Depending on what happens, you can keep calling plays until the game ends, on both offense and defense. Other obstacles can also stand in your way, such as flags that back up your field position. At the end of the game, you can see your total grade for the plays you called and how it compares to what actually happened in real life. For example, in our case, we can see that we beat Ben Johnson and called a similar game.

If you don’t like Daily mode, you can also play Survivor mode, which lets you keep playing until you lose. You can go on long streaks or end your run in a single go. The basic gameplay is the same as the Daily mode, though.
This is the latest in a string of browser football games that have popped up over the past month. We even saw a Pokémon football game appear last week that lets you play Madden-style football using actual creatures from the Pokémon franchise. It’ll be fascinating to see what else is created before 2026 is over, but 2 Minute Drill is certainly a worthy addition to your list of daily browser games at the least.
