I’m going to open by saying that style is subjective and fashion is a personal choice, especially in MMORPGs, and there’s truly no harm if you like how your character looks. But let’s all be honest with ourselves: We absolutely cast some side-eye on some players’ fashion choices in one way or another.

Maybe someone is traipsing around in a link of pearls or beads that could be charitably called an outfit. Maybe someone’s sense of color coordination… isn’t. Or maybe there’s that guy who’s walking around with salad bowl-sized pauldrons that are issuing giant columns of plasma for some reason. Whatever it is, what’s the MMORPG fashion faux pas that you instantly judge a player for, even if only for a brief moment?
