《侠盗猎车手6》确认符合The Game Awards 2026提名资格

The debate is over. It’s now confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is eligible for Nominations in The Game Awards 2026.

Over the past few months, it’s been up to some debate as to whether Grand Theft Auto 6 would be eligible for Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards, and thanks to some pretty clear instructions on the game awards website, it’s official. Grand Theft Auto 6 will be eligible for nomination by the international jury for The Game Awards 2026.

First spotted by the folks over at Insider Gaming, if you head to the FAQ over on The Game Awards official website, you’ll see the details for the cutoff date, as per the image below.

Games must be made commercially available to customers on or before Friday, November 20, 2026, at 9 p.m. PT. In the Players’ Voice category, games must ship on or before November 30, 2026.

As Grand Theft Auto 6 is releasing on November 19th, 2026, Rockstar’s latest is going to eligible, and is now likely to be a sure fire favourite to win the coveted ‘Game of the Year’ award, likely alongside a host of others.

It’s been a rollercoaster of ride for GTA6, with a number of high profile leaks before release, a partnership with Netflix to show off the game officially and plenty of fan debate about whether the game would be eligible. Recent reports suggest the PC version won’t be far behind the console version of the game, and a new report from Bloomberg earlier this week shed new light on the creation of the game.

Grand Theft Auto 6 launches November 19th, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Game Awards will take place on Thursday, December 10th, streaming live from Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
