IO Interactive《007 First Light》Switch 2版终获固定发售日期与新预告片

For those still holding out on IO Interactive’s 007 First Light for Nintendo Switch 2, (you’re not alone, we’re waiting too) it seems we have a new release date: March 18th, 2027. This announcement comes from a new trailer that was published by IGN on their YouTube Channel. The trailer shows off the game, which looks like it has seen some much needed improvements over what was previously shown during Nintendo’s own Direct last month.

Granted, the new trailer was only a minute or so long, and it showcased a lot of what we know already about the game, but it’s nice to see that the deluxe edition will already be included in the Switch 2 version of the game and pre-orders will also include a new Goldeneye Suit.

Although I am admittedly disappointed that Switch 2 owners won’t be able to play 007 First Light until almost a year after its initial release, I am still looking forward to eventually playing the game on my system of choice. I know that IO Interactive wanted to take more time for the Switch 2 version to make it the best it can be. I was kind of hoping that the time they took would also mean 007 First Light would at least be all on physical cart (at least the base game), but alas that is not to be either and the Hitman Devs are still persisting with releasing the game on the Hybrid Console as a Game Key Card.

While we are still internally debating whether we pick up the Game Key Card or just go for the digital version, we are interested in what your thoughts are. Are you going to be picking it up next March? Have you already played it on another platform? Do let us know in the comments!
