《Shrek 2 Remastered》在Xbox Store泄露，含4K画面与四人Co-op

Shrek 2 Remastered from Aspyr has leaked through the Xbox Store ahead of an official announcement, revealing upgraded visuals, new features, and multiplayer support for up to four players. The listing describes a remastered version of the 2004 action-adventure game based on DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek 2 film.

According to the store listing, the remaster features improved textures, an enhanced user interface, 4K resolution, and updated cutscenes. It will also introduce a Photo Mode for capturing in-game moments and a Cheat Mode that lets players unlock cheats during their playthrough.

The game will support solo play, four-player couch co-op, online multiplayer, and mixed multiplayer that combines local and online players. Players will once again be able to control familiar characters from the franchise, switching between heroes to fight enemies, defeat bosses, and solve environmental puzzles using their individual abilities.

The adventure will take players through locations inspired by the film, including Shrek’s swamp and the kingdom of Far Far Away. The listing also mentions appearances by familiar characters and hidden Easter eggs for players to discover.

Originally released in 2004, Shrek 2 was an action-adventure platformer that expanded on the animated film’s story. Its gameplay centred on a team of characters, including Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, and Puss in Boots, each with distinct abilities used to overcome combat encounters and puzzles.

Aspyr Media is listed as both the developer and publisher of the remastered release. The Xbox Store listing gives an approximate download size of 13.85 GB.
