What we know about Valorant Game Changers 2027 so far

Riot Games has announced that the Valorant Game Changers Championship will conclude at Valorant Champions 2027, bringing the competition out of a studio environment for the first time.

Over the years, the Valorant Game Changers Championship has taken place at the following locations:

2026 (Upcoming): Arena CBLOL, São Paulo – ~140-seat capacity
2025: LoL Park, Seoul – 450-seat capacity
2024: Riot Games Arena, Berlin – ~200-seat capacity
2023: Arena CBLOL, São Paulo – ~140-seat capacity
2022: Riot Games Arena, Berlin – ~200-seat capacity

That means that the capacity of the Austin arena is likely to be an order of magnitude larger than any capacity Valorant Game Changers has seen in its history.

Riot Games has unveiled various details of the revamped 2027 schedule, including its locations for Tier 1 Valorant events as well as financial incentives for Partnered teams.

As part of that, a dedicated amount of the 2027 ecosystem’s funds will be reserved for Game Changers, with organizations involved in Game Changers benefitting from the Game Changers Championship Incentive.

Riot devs have confirmed an extra benefit for the teams qualifying for the Game Changers Championship, awarding each team that qualifies $100,000.

As for the prize pool, the Valorant Game Changers Championship 2027 prize pool is not confirmed. Every addition of Game Changers thus far has had a $500,000 prize pool, with the winning team bagging $180,000.
