The showmatch ahead of the VALORANT Champions 2026 Shanghai pits Team Alpha against Team Omega. Personalities like Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, Athena from the girl group FIFTY FIFTY, and Mark “OhnePixel” Zimmermann are among the players in the match. Here’s everybody playing and the schedule.

VALORANT Champions 2026 showmatch

The VALORANT Champions 2026 Shanghai showmatch will be on Oct. 17 at 11 pm PDT (Oct. 18 at 2 pm CST). While not confirmed, it’s widely assumed that they will preview the new Agent, Hush.

Team Alpha vs. Team Omega

The names of the teams on this showmatch continue the recurring theme of Alpha vs. Omega. Team Omega are the international personalities, while Team Alpha are looking for cheers from their fellow Chinese in the crowd.

Team Omega

Team Omega is led by team captain TenZ.

Omega includes popular Counter-Strike 2 streamer OhnePixel, but it certainly isn’t his first time in the VALORANT world. He was the most-viewed co-streamer for last year’s Champions, but declined the in-stadium invite to give a dedicated VALORANT creator the slot instead.

Athena from FIFTY FIFTY is also here. Earlier this year, T1 signed her on as their official VALORANT ambassador. She revealed that she was a big fan of the game and even joked about joining the org’s Game Changers roster.

Singer-songwriter Keshi and DJ Dabin wrap up the Team Omega roster.

Team Alpha

Team Alpha is captained by Chinese singer and actor Karry Wang, a member of the boy group TFBoys.

His roster has BLG’s Wang “whz” Haozhe and Chinese content creators Aijiang, Gus, and Hanghang. This way, the showmatch turns into a Home vs. Away match for the crowd at the Jing’an Sports Center in Shanghai, China.

The VALORANT Champions 2026 Shanghai showmatch will be on the day of the grand finals. This is Oct 17, 11 PM PDT, and Oct 18, 2 PM CST.
