SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is now available on Nintendo Switch, expanding the game’s platform availability following its release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Developed by Purple Lamp and published by THQ Nordic, the platforming adventure follows SpongeBob and Patrick as they attempt to stop supernatural chaos from spreading across Bikini Bottom.

The story begins when a feud between the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune unleashes ghostly mayhem across the underwater city. Players must take control of SpongeBob and Patrick, switching between the two characters and using their distinct platforming abilities to overcome obstacles and progress through the adventure.

Patrick also receives new abilities, including grappling and burrowing, adding further options for navigating the game’s environments. Players can explore familiar locations such as Neptune’s Palace and Mount Bikini while facing larger-than-life bosses throughout the campaign.

The game features an original story voiced by the show’s original cast. THQ Nordic has also confirmed that the Titans of the Tide theme song is available through major music streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
