Neo Forge 1.0.30 is out for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android. The famous board wipes and removal spells now get their own effect when they resolve, the stack tells you what X is, every Quest win can bring home a card from your opponent's deck, and Ascent remembers your favourite set combinations. As always, most of it came from your messages on Discord and itch.io.

Spells that look like what they do

• When one of the most famous board wipes or removal spells resolves, it gets its own short effect: a meteor falls for Blasphemous Act and the table shakes, columns of light for Wrath of God, purple smoke for Damnation, poison bubbles for Toxic Deluge, a blue vortex for Cyclonic Rift, a sweep of light for Farewell, lightning for Supreme Verdict, and Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile and Chaos Warp hit their target.
• Only if the spell actually resolves: if someone counters it, nothing happens.
• The stack tells you what X is: "Cataclysmic Prospecting (X = 4)", on the stack and on the big card in the middle (on Android, on the stack chip). No more guessing whether that wipe kills your 2/2s or everything.
• Twelve more commanders get their own entrance, in every printing, and two of the existing ones look better (one was cut off at the top, another hid behind the card).
• All of this turns off along with the other effects (PC: Settings, Display; Android: Settings, Game).

• A trophy for every win: when you win a duel you also take one card from your opponent's deck, besides the booster. Never a basic land, cards you don't own yet come first, and the rarer the card, the less likely. It shows up in your rewards and you can sell it right there. On by default, and it can be turned off in Settings.
• Packs flag what your decks were missing: when you open a booster (shop, collector, boxes or the daily pack), cards that were missing from one of your decks get a gold border and "FOR YOUR DECK", and a line tells you which card and which deck.
• Export your collection: an "Export" button in the collection gives you the list to copy into Moxfield, Archidekt or ManaBox, one line per printing with set and number (and *F* for foils).
• If the daily pack can't be opened, the message now says why in a short technical line. If it happens to you, a screenshot of it helps me a lot.

Ascent

• Partner or background: with a commander that allows it (Partner, Choose a Background, Friends forever, Doctor...), "Add partner or background" shows the ones that work with it, and your starting deck is built for both, with their combined identity. It's part of the run code too (old codes still work).
• Saved set combinations: "Save this combination" when setting up a run, and your saved ones show up as quick buttons that set it in one click (the × forgets one). No more building the same seven-set block every time.

Also

• Macros: a card with several abilities no longer asks you on every repeat when its list of abilities changes along the way (Necrotic Ooze with Devoted Druid and Morselhoarder, for example). PC only, since Android has no macros.
• Android: double-tap a card in your hand to read it without dragging it. Double-tap and release opens the zoomed card; double-tap and hold flips the preview to the translated text.
• The English settings were rewritten: a lot of them sounded translated from Spanish (because they were). Other languages are unchanged.
• Forge updated, with the Star Trek sets (Star Trek, Star Trek Commander and Stardates) and card fixes.
