chelleos 签约 Sashi 仅两天离队 acoR 已回归训练

Michael “chelleos” Hawkins is no longer part of the Danish organization after joining from Rooster on October 8.

The New Zealand AWPer revealed that the move had not worked out and said he never signed a contract with Sashi.

HLTV reports that the organization has already returned to practicing with Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand, who had been benched to make room for chelleos.

chelleos Exit Comes Almost Immediately

Sashi announced chelleos as its new AWPer on October 8.

The move appeared to be another major step in the organization’s recent international roster rebuild.

Only two days later, the arrangement was over.

chelleos publicly confirmed that he was no longer playing for the team and clarified that no contract had been signed.

The situation currently looks like this:

• chelleos joined Sashi on October 8
• He left the team after only two days
• The player says he never signed a contract
• acoR has reportedly returned to practice
• Sashi currently list only four active players

The extremely short stay makes this one of the quickest roster reversals of the 2026 season.

acoR Could Return to the Starting Lineup

The obvious question is what happens next with the AWP position.

acoR was benched when Sashi brought in chelleos.

According to HLTV, however, Sashi have already been practicing with the Danish AWPer again.

That makes acoR the most obvious short-term solution, although Sashi have not officially confirmed his return to the active roster.

At the moment, HLTV lists acoR as benched rather than active.

HUNDEN remains the team’s coach.

Sashi’s International Rebuild Continues

The chelleos signing was part of a much larger change in direction.

Sashi recently brought in Australian players Tynan “TjP” Purtell and Jordan “Hatz” Bajic on short-term deals.

That already shifted the team away from its previous Danish identity.

chelleos would have added another Oceanic player to the lineup and created a three-player core from the wider Asia-Pacific region.

The move was particularly significant because of how Valve Regional Standings classify teams by region.

Regional Status Remains Complicated

Sashi’s recent roster construction has attracted attention because of the organization’s attempt to establish an Asian VRS core.

Anlelele now competes under the Vietnamese flag, while TjP and Hatz are Australian.

However, HLTV reports that Sashi still need to wait three months before their regional classification officially changes under Valve’s rules unless they receive an exception.

Valve recently adjusted its rules following several roster moves designed around regional VRS positioning.

That makes Sashi’s situation more complicated than a normal player swap.

The relevant points are:

• TjP and Hatz joined as part of an international rebuild
• chelleos would have strengthened the Asia-Pacific majority
• Anlelele now competes under the Vietnamese flag
• Valve’s three-month regional transition rule still applies

chelleos’ departure therefore affects both the team’s immediate roster and its wider VRS strategy.

Busy Schedule Leaves Little Time

Sashi do not have much time to solve the situation.

The team is scheduled to play at Stake Pulse Beat III in Stockholm next week.

They are also expected at DraculaN Season 7 and have entered multiple other LAN events.

That puts pressure on the organization to finalize its fifth player quickly.

If acoR returns, Sashi would at least regain an experienced AWPer who already understands the team structure.

Bringing in another new player would create yet another adjustment period.

chelleos Back on the Market

For chelleos, the situation leaves him available again almost immediately after leaving Rooster.

The 26-year-old had been one of the more recognizable players from Oceania and was expected to bring additional experience to Sashi’s international project.

Instead, his time with the team ended before he even played an official map.

HLTV’s team records list him with zero maps played for Sashi.

That detail underlines just how quickly the move collapsed.

Assessment

The chelleos situation adds another layer of uncertainty to Sashi’s already complicated roster rebuild.

A signing announced on October 8 was effectively over by October 10, with no contract signed and no official matches played.

For Sashi, the simplest solution appears to be restoring acoR.

He remains under the organization, already knows the system and has reportedly returned to practice.

The bigger question is what this means for Sashi’s longer-term regional strategy.

The organization has invested heavily in restructuring its roster around an international core, but repeated changes make stability difficult.

With several tournaments approaching, Sashi now need clarity quickly.

Whether that means a full acoR return or another new AWPer remains unconfirmed.
