PUNKCAKE Delicieux 开发的下落方块新游《Hot Wax》定于2026年10月29日发售，目前 demo 已开放。玩法以放置蜡烛点燃产生连锁反应替代传统方块，平均一局最长10分钟并含多种模式与 Steam 成就。
Move over Tetris, it's time for some Hot Wax - an inventive new take on classic falling block puzzlers.
Developed by PUNKCAKE Delicieux who also made quite a number of other smaller casual games like Stray Shot, Pigments, Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate and more. They keep coming up with some really clever ideas - all their games are worth checking out.
Instead of plain blocks - you're placing shaped candles. Place candles, light a wick, and create slowly-unfolding chain reactions. You try to place them so that when one is lit, the others will also light off of it. Eventually a flame will come.
They said that an average game takes up to 10 minutes to complete, depending on your level. And there's various different modes and difficulties to unlock, different colour palettes and Steam Achievements too.
Seems really cool. Love a fresh spin on a classic retro game like this.
A demo is live now ahead of the October 29th release.
